This 1967 Mustang has been built from a raw body shell over the past 4 years to what you see now.

Starting with a 1967 Mustang Coupe Fastback, the team at Grubbs Motorsports in Garland, Texas set out to build the ultimate 67 Mustang driver; obviously Mike got a little carried away....

The ground-up build began with an Art Morrison Max G tube chassis.  Unique to this car than most street rods, Mike married the body and the chassis together in a way that one could remove the body from the chassis if they so desired.

Every curve of the body on this Mustang has been hand made by metal in Mike's fabrication shop.  The hood, rocker panels, deck lid, roof line, side vents, etc have all been crafted by hand.  The only fiberglass piece used for the entire car was the front fascia that started as a piece from an Eleanor body kit Mike had......with a little massaging of course.  The car is painted in Nighthawk Black Pearl with a custom Charcoal ghost stripe set-up that is carried under the hood and over the dash.

• 20 Gallon Fuel Cell with an internal Walbro fuel pump

• Ford Motorsports 460 Crate Motor producing 550hp / 550ft lbs of torque
• TWM Induction Fuel Injection
• 31" x 19" Aluminum Radiator with dual Electric Fans
• Sanderson Headers
• 3" Custom exhaust with rear exit
• Tremec TKO 600 5spd
• Zoom Clutch ( Street / Strip set-up )
• Tilton Reverse Mount clutch assembly with dual pistons underdash

The previous owner spent well north of $300K on the build of this car and is looking forward to the next one !!
